Tasmanian Youth Classical Ballet Company (TYCBC) will be holding auditions for 2017 on 20 November 2016.
The TYCBC was established in late 2015 to provide young dancers aged 10-17 with performance opportunities, ballet training and individual coaching. The company’s patron is Justine Summers. “The Tasmanian Youth Classical Ballet Company will bring wonderful opportunities to Tasmanian youth and encourage students to pursue their love of ballet, helping to strengthen the culture of ballet in Tasmania and create a richly creative environment for all,” says Summers.
The company staged a launch performance on October 6 to family and friends at the Peacock Theatre, Hobart.
