Congratulations to Valerie Tresechenko of The Australian Ballet who was announced as the 2017 Telstra Ballet Dancer of the Year at the conclusion of the opening night performance of TAB’s Sydney season of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The award is The Australian Ballet’s most prestigious and carries with it a $20 000 cash prize.

The People’s Choice Award of $5000 was awarded to Jake Mangakahia.
