Sydney Eisteddfod has announced the launch of Stage at Home, a new initiative that invites young performers to share a video recording of themselves performing, to be showcased by Sydney Eisteddfod online, on the Sydney Eisteddfod YouTube Channel.
The idea behind “Stage at Home” is to give young performers who had entered, or were planning to enter, the Sydney Eisteddfod the opportunity to share the piece they would have performed at the Eisteddfod, be it dance, drama, music or song.
Unlike the Sydney Eisteddfod, however, “Stage at Home” is not a competition and there will be no judging or prizes.
Submissions are open and Sydney Eisteddfod will start uploading and sharing videos from June 1. Submissions close July 29 and new videos will be uploaded until July 31.
