Directed by Wayne McGregor, the 17th International Festival of Contemporary Dance will be taking place in Venice this month from July 13th to July 29th. Among the many works presented by artists who come from all over the world, are those from two Australian choreographers, Lucy Guerin and Scott Elstermann.

Biennale Danza will present the installation/performance Pendulum (from July 14th to 19th and again from July 27th to 19th) and the female duet Split (July 22nd and 23rd). Both works are choreographed by the Melbourne based Lucy Guerin who is well known to Australian audiences and the winner of a Sidney Myer Performing Arts Award, a “Bessie” and multiple Green Room, Helpmann and Australian Dance awards.
