Houston Ballet Summer School Auditions

Houston Ballet, one of the largest and most respected ballet companies in the United States, will hold auditions for its prestigious 2025 Summer Intensive Program in Sydney on Sunday, 2 February 2025.

This world-renowned program, held at Houston Ballet’s state-of-the-art facilities in Texas, offers dancers aged 12 and above (levels 5–8) the chance to immerse themselves in intensive training from 21 June to 25 July 2025. With a schedule of 6–8 hours of daily classes, six days a week, the program is designed to elevate technique, artistry, and performance under the guidance of some of ballet’s most respected names.

Participants will train with esteemed faculty, including Artistic Director Stanton Welch AM, celebrated ballerina Julie Kent, and trailblazer Lauren Anderson, alongside opportunities to learn from company artists such as Harper Watters and Yuriko Kajiya.

Auditioning in Sydney provides Australian dancers with a unique opportunity to showcase their talent and take the first step toward experiencing elite training on an international stage. Those accepted will gain invaluable exposure to the professional ballet world, working in an environment that fosters growth and artistic excellence.
