The Royal Academy of Dance’s Victorian/Tasmanian panel held its annual Kathleen Gorham Memorial Awards, along with the Audrey Nicholls Higher Grade Awards, at the studios of The Australian Ballet, Sunday 10 November.
Across the two awards, 192 young dancer participated. Kathleen Gorham’s niece, Kate Gorham, presented to Kathleen Gorham Awards at the end of the day.
The Kathleen Gorham Memorial Awards are open to students in RAD Grade Intermediate Foundation to Solo Seal who have entered an examination under a RAD registered teacher in the Victoria region. The Audrey Nicholls Higher Grades Awards are open to students in RAD Grade Six to Grade Eight who have entered an examination under a RAD registered teacher in the Victorian region.
