Seeking feedback from dance schools!
Next year dance schools will benefit from a new initiative between PPCA and APRA AMCOS. This initiative is called OneMusic and will allow dance businesses to buy just ONE annual music licence ONLINE.
Behind the scenes, APRA AMCOS will still forward the licence fees they collect to their own members and PPCA will do the same for their licensors, so the music creators income stream remains the same.
Before OneMusic launches they are conducting extensive research to develop a scheme that specifically suits the dance sector. They are asking for dance schools to read their proposal for music licensing and provide feedback. The paper takes around 20 minutes to read. Please read and respond to this is a unique opportunity to shape the way we use copyright music in our dance businesses.
