New Netflix dance series
Just in time for summer holidays bingeing, Netflix is releasing a new series based at a dance school, called Tiny Pretty Things.
The show is based on the book by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton and is set in the world of an elite ballet academy in Chicago, where a group of cut-throat teens compete against each other for the top roles.
The lead dancer in the series is Kylie Jefferson, who began her studies at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and graduated with a BFA in contemporary dance from the Boston Conservatory.
A quick look at the preview by Dance Australia has gleaned that the dance looks like the real thing - not always the case when dance is portrayed on TV or film!
The series starts on December 14.
