The curtain has risen on our October/November issue!

The Australian Ballet's brand new production of the epic ballet Spartacus will soon make the leap from Arts Centre Melbourne to the Sydney Opera House. Nina Levy has interviewed its creator, Lucas Jervies, on what lies behind his version of the ballet. This insightful article comes with some gorgeous rehearsal photos.

Also epic is the visit by the famous La Scala Ballet from Milan to Australia in November. Karen van Ulzen asks the charismatic artistic director, Frederic Olivieri, what the company has in store. We have some gorgeous photos of that company as well!
