Queensland Ballet will be holding auditions for dancers to be part of the first production of its new My First Ballet Series, on Sunday 6 December.
The My First Ballet Series is designed especially for younger audiences. The series will open with Little Red Riding Hood.
Auditions will be held on Sunday 6 December for both male and female dancers. Queensland Ballet will be looking for excellent classical technique and strong stage presence.
Dancers should either reside in Brisbane or be willing to cover their own travel and accommodation costs. Successful dancers will also be required to be available for select time periods for production development, rehearsals and performances.
Dancers wishing to audition should register their interest by sending a CV and headshot to auditions@queenslandballet.com.au by 3 December 2015. Applicants considered for audition will be notified by email.
