Australian Dance Theatre Auditions (Australia)

A rare opportunity has become available for male and female dancers to join Australian Dance Theatre, based in Adelaide, Australia under the Artistic Direction of Garry Stewart.

Australian Dance Theatre is Australia's pre-eminent contemporary dance company. It has a well established international profile and tours regularly throughout national and international regions. The company is looking for strong, highly skilled and thoughtful contemporary dancers, who have a minimum of three years professional contemporary dance experience. The successful applicant will be offered a full one year contract commencing in May 2018 and will be required to relocate to Adelaide in South Australia. The successful applicant will be selected on a number of criteria that includes having the quality, style and suitability to integrate into the present company ensemble.

  • One head shot
  •  Two dance shots
  • Links to video footage, preferably in a studio or other non-performance setting (YouTube or Vimeo – 3 min max) including passwords if used
  • CV including two references

This audition is an open audition therefore support material is for reference only. However, ADT retains the right to exclude from the audition any applicants who do not meet the minimum of three years professional contemporary dance experience criteria as evidenced by your CV.
