Apply for a scholarship to WAAPA!
The West Australian Academy of the Performing Arts is inviting male students to apply for a scholarship for Semesters 1 and 2 in 2024.
Generously donated by Jamelia Gubgub, former WAAPA student and dancer with WA Ballet, and her husband, David Wallace, the Jamelia Gubgub and David Wallace Classical Ballet Scholarship aims to encourage and support a male classical ballet student with outstanding potential. Male students auditioning in 2023 for a place in the 2024 CUA51520 - Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance) or the CUA60120 - Advanced Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance) course at WAAPA will be considered for the Scholarship throughout the audition process. The Scholarship, valued at $7,500, will provide a $3,750 payment in Semester 1 and Semester 2 in 2024. Two scholarships will be available for award in 2024.
