Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) has two exciting opportunities coming up over summer for young dancers - its Summer School and Kickstart intensive professionl training.
ADT Summer School
ADT’s Summer School will take place 13-17 January 2014. The Summer School will be taught by ADT’s professional and ensemble and will include:
• A daily technique class
• Tumbling training
• Company repertoire
• Conditioning
• Creative composition
The Summer School will culminate with an informal showing for friends and family.
Cost: $300/student
Age and experience: 13 years- adult, designed for intermediate/advanced dancers with three or more years dance training.

KickStart
KickStart gives elite dance students intensive professional training from ADT for three weeks.
The program includes:
• Choreographic mentorship from artistic director Garry Stewart
• Intensive technical skills coaching for outstanding graduate dancers
• Direction through a development program based on major new company work
• The opportunity to showcase your work
KickStart students will gain enhanced physical skills, a thorough understanding of current choreographic processes, and be able to formulate an excellent personal CV and video material, ready for auditions.
Only four places are available to Australian and international students per year.
Cost: $1750 per student
