Increasingly there is an awareness that disability is not a barrier to engaging in dance. Dance artists Brianna Kell and Margot Politis understand this and have created a series of free creative dance workshops for young people with and without disability, entitled “The Right Foot”, to be held this September in Parramatta.
Designed for participants ages 14-26, these workshops provide creative activity for those who may not otherwise have access to dance. The workshop series is a professional pathway for aspiring young artists and offers linkages to the dance sector. It also provides training and skills development relevant to current contemporary dance practices.
Presented by DirtyFeet in partnership with Riverside Theatres, the workshops will take place on Saturdays in September, from 10amn-1.30pm, at Studios 404, 404 Church St, Parramatta, NSW. Register here.
