Nominate a regional school

 

Do you know of a regional dance school that you would like to see featured in Dance Australia? Would you like to acknowledge a teacher in a country town or location who goes above and beyond to bring the pleasure of dance to the local community?

We are thrilled to announce the return of our Regional Heroes feature again this year, our special feature celebrating the achievements of country teachers and schools.

Whether the school is big or small, we would like to hear from you!

Dance schools are unacknowledged hub of many communities, as important as the local sports club, bringing countless children together for fun and recreation as well as training students for potential careers. We know that many played a crucial role during the pandemic, keeping their students motivated and active (and parents sane!)

If you know an exceptional teacher, please nominate them for this special feature. 

Your nominee will go in a pool from which Dance Australia staff will choose four to highlight and publish in the October/November issue. Choices are based on editorial balance and considerations. If your nomination missed out last year, here is another chance to nominate them again!
