Dancers wanted!

DANCERS WANTED for “MY FAIR LADY”. Robert Ray, former choreographer with The Australian Ballet, and teacher at the Australian Ballet School will be directing and choreographing a New Production of “MY FAIR LADY” for GILBERT & SULLIVAN OPERA VICTORIA (GSOV) next March. He writes:

“I would love to make this an opportunity for dance students who have either finished their training or near the end of it to give them valuable experience on the stage. This is an Unpaid gig, but what we can offer you is an extension of your training, this time in Musical Theatre, which you may not have had yet, and would help you to get a job in the future. You will be working with an experienced professional Production Team. The production will be with full live orchestra, lovely sets and costumes, and will run for 5-6 performances from March 30th, 2023 at the Alexander Theatre, Monash University. Rehearsals begin on January 3rd, and are usually on Thursday evenings in Blackburn South. Four Sunday afternoon rehearsals. Absences are permitted through January as it is a holiday month.
