Scimm. Dance Company presents Monark
Performed by our Platforms Youth Company, Monark explores the idea of toxic classism rooted in the history of monarchies active during 17th century Europe.
This new abstract work follows a fictional royal monarchy in 1665 as they live and process their interactions with the general public. As the contrast between their lived experiences begins to take a toll, the emotional pressures trickling through their society become too much for the monarchy to bear.
Don’t miss out on works choreographed by Company Directors Scott Pokorny and Tim Barnes, alongside guest choreographers Sabrina Phillip, Petros Treklis and Emma Moran.
