They say you don’t get much in life for free but there are always exceptions, and in just one month one of these exceptions is coming up. Because on Saturday 29th April – International Dance Day – Ausdance NSW is bringing multicultural dance to everyone with FREE entry to the new ‘Ausdance Till Dusk’ festival.
There will be food, stalls and live performances throughout the day, offering unique opportunities for Sydney’s diverse multicultural communities to share and celebrate their cultures through dance with audiences and the general public. Dance performances will be offered by dance students, professional artists and community members and the aim is to create a fun and exciting event that everyone can enjoy. After all, dance itself is multi-faceted and enjoyed by people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. It is incredible how powerful this one artform can be.
"I am excited to present the first year of 'Ausdance Till Dusk' an exhilarating dance festival bringing together the dance community and broader public to celebrate the creative and diverse artistry of NSW performers, students and organisations. What better way than to celebrate as a community on International Dance Day."
Marie Soghomonian, Executive Director AusdanceNSW.
