Under the visionary direction of renowned choreographer Angelin Preljocaj, France’s leading contemporary ballet company reimagines Tchaikovsky’s timeless tale of love and betrayal into a modern-day tragedy. Known for their bold reimagining of classic ballet stories, dramatic choreography, and spectacular design, Ballet Preljocaj brings this masterpiece to Australia for the first time, with music performed live by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra conducted by Johannes Fritzsch.

Ballet Preljocaj last performed at QPAC in 2016 to sold out audiences with their stunning retelling of Snow White, featuring costumes designed by couturier Jean Paul Gaultier.
