Melbourne company Lucy Guerin Inc is calling for Expressions of Interest to take part in its fourth interation of "Out of Bounds".

Presented in partnership with Temperance Hall in South Melbourne, "Out of Bounds" provides an opportunity for Victorian artists to present a short showing of their recent choreographic investigations to local audiences, fellow artists and peers. The initiative also provides participants with the opportunity to receive creative feedback about their work, with post-showing discussions facilitated by experienced dance practitioners.

The program has places for up to 24 artists to present an excerpt of a work in development of up to 10 minutes. The closing date for EOI's is Monday June 5 at 9 am. The showings will take place at the Temperance Hall, South Melbourne, on the weekend of August 12 to 13.

Meanwhile, LGI will be fulfilling some overseas engagements. The company has been invited to perform at the Venice Biennale Danza in July, and will present Pendulum and Split, alongside a suite of other activities including artist talks, a film screening, and a masterclass with Guerin.

Pendulum has also been selected for as one of 10 selected Pitch New Works projects to be presented at the Manchester 2023 ISPA Congress, Co-creating the future (running parallel with this year's Manchester International Festival) in July.

Pitch New Works is a forum for creators and arts professionals to share and discover new performing arts projects from across the globe.
