Opening this Thursday in Melbourne is a new production presented by youth company Yellowwheel: a double bill with the title 'i'm also not entirely sure this was the task my listening ears got lost in the wash', by the company's artistic director, Kyall Shanks, and the YW Dancers.

Yellow Wheel was established in 2012 in Melbourne as a safe place for young people to "unleash their inner contemporary dancer". It offers a professional setting where young dancers can experience what it is like to be a part of the working contemporary dance industry, and prepare them for further training and professional work.

This forthcoming season features a new major work 'Hive Mind', as well as 'The Dancing Fever of 1518', which was presented as part of 'Gather' in Canberra in July as part of QL2's Meet Up Youth Festival. Read about that festival here.

'Lost in the Wash' runs until the 24th at the The Skydeck, The Space Dance and Arts Centre, in Prahran. For more info, go here.
