The Youth America Grand Prix team returned to Sydney in early October for the second annual Youth Grand Prix semi-final competition in Australia. Competitors travelled to Sydney from across the Asia-Pacific region to take part.

Over five days (1-5 October) Chatswood’s Concourse Theatre and Bangarra Dance Theatre’s Walsh Bay Studios hosted classes and performances adjudicated by judges including Robert Parker (Elmhurst Ballet School, Artistic Director), Grace Holmes (San Francisco Ballet School Director), Damien Welch (Former Principal, Australian Ballet) and Aram Manukyan (Alberta Ballet School, Director Trainee Program).
