The Part-Time & Full-Time Programmes are tailored to meet each individual students technical and artistic goals throughout their pre-professional career. This includes working towards examinations, national and international competitions, scholarships and auditions.

Classes run Tuesday to Saturday with the options for dancers to join afternoon academy classes for their Royal Academy of Dance exam content or supplementary training. Students complete their academic studies through Cairns School of Distance Education.

Main subjects: Open Ballet (in varying styles and training methods), Pointe, Variations, Contemporary, Choreography and Conditioning.

Contact hours per day: Monday - Saturday 8-3pm

Main teachers: Bethany Cockburn, Justine Summers, Guest Teachers.

Audition date: In studio and video auditions can be arranged at any time throughout the year.

Audition requirements: Contact BMCC for further details on audition criteria or to arrange an audition.

Possible career options: Students are supported through competition and audition procedures to find national and international school and company placements.
