For those wanting to start a career in the performing arts, NIDA offers full-time fully-accredited Vocational Diplomas, Bachelor and Masters courses in a variety of disciplines, including acting, costume making, design for performance, directing, live production, specialist make-up, musical theatre, props-making, set construction, technical theatre and stage management and writing.

NIDA’s Bachelor of Fine Arts Acting is a rigorous training program in acting, music, movement and voice offered in two streams; The Actor and The Singing Actor. The Singing Actor stream is for students wishing to specialise in sung theatre forms. It develops skills in singing, dancing, and acting-through-song, with a focus on contemporary techniques for authentic performance.
