The Tanya Pearson Academy provides the optimal training environment for young dancers to grow into accomplished unique artists who are able to succeed on the world stage!
Our graduates are successfully placed in prestigious companies and schools around the world, often on a full scholarship.
The TPA provides a new state of the art world class dance facility with seven spacious purpose-built studios with professional sound systems and sprung floors; an in-house theatre performance space (soon to come); academic classrooms; Pilates/gym and; physiotherapy facilities.
We offer our students unique performance and audition opportunities throughout the year.

CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION
The Tanya Pearson Academy is a partner with the Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD). TPA full-time students have the option to obtain a qualification in dance as part of their full-time training - CUA51520 – Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance).
This vocational Diploma is equivalent to Year 12 completion and provides entry into higher education and University institutions throughout the country within the Arts and Business Development related programs.
Main subjects: Classical ballet, character, pas de deux, contemporary, pointe classes, classical variation, virtuosity, male coaching, repertoire, dance history, professional CV, video and photo applications, anatomy and injury prevention, dance psychology sessions and goal setting, nutrition, career planning and career networking, Pilates, limber/stretch and conditioning, private coaching for competitions and auditions, on-site academic tutoring and on-site physiotherapists.
Contact hours per day: 9.00-6.00pm Monday-Friday
9-2pm Saturday
Additional hours provided for on-site academic tutoring and lectures.
Pre-requisites/entry requirements: Sufficient level of classical ballet training and talent.

Scholarships or subsidies: Offered at the discretion of the Executive Director.
Possible career options: TPA Graduates are offered places and full scholarships to world class companies and schools. The Academy has a produced hundreds of successful graduates for over more than 50 years, with a strong track record, of Graduates gaining employment and going on to successful careers in dance.
